New ActiveNav Cloud Feature: Profile Review

We’re excited to share the latest enhancement to ActiveNav Cloud: Profile Review.

Previously, our Review functionality was only available for scored inventories. Now, with Profile Review, users can launch the collaborative decision-making process on any data set across your unstructured inventory, regardless of whether the files have been scored. This is a major expansion of how and when organizations can take action on their unstructured data.

Why This Matters

Data teams often identify large volumes of potentially sensitive or unnecessary data based on criteria like:

• File size
• Object type
• Age
• Storage location
• Business unit

With Profile Review, these queries no longer sit in limbo. Analysts can assess, tag, and make informed decisions in a collaborative space.

How It Works

• Query your data based on criteria meaningful to your business.
• Send results to Review, even if files are not scored.
• Sort and filter within Review to focus on key areas.
• Mark files for further action—deletion, retention, migration, or legal hold.
• Export decisions including metadata and reviewer input.
• Pass results to IT or compliance teams for next steps.
