The DoD Chief Information Officer (CIO) Annual Awards program recognizes individuals and teams within DoD for exceptional achievements within the Digital Modernization portfolio. The awardees demonstrated impressive accomplishments across cybersecurity, the transition to electronic records management, cloud, and IT efficiencies.

DeCA was recognized by Pentagon leadership for their rollout of ActiveNav’s data discovery platform with Feith Systems electronic records management platform, RMA IQ. Through our on-going partnership with Feith, we help federal agencies effectively make the transition to electronic records management and comply with federal mandates such as M-19-21.

“The recipients of this award have demonstrated how technology truly enables our nation to perform critical missions despite the COVID-19 global pandemic,” said the Honorable Dana Deasy, Chief Information Officer of the DoD, introducing the awards.

DoD CIO leadership choose ActiveNav and Feith customer DeCA as the winner of the Electronic Records Management modernization award.

“Electronic records provide thorough documentation of essential government functions and provide the information necessary to protect government and citizen interests – so their proper management is essential. We are proud of DeCA’s accomplishments in modernizing IT and meeting federal mandates. We look forward to continuing to work with federal agencies to help them comply with CUI, M-19-21, and the Federal Data Strategy,” said Peter Baumann, ActiveNav CEO and Founder.
